Pre-printed portfolio of blank pages covered in green cloth produced by Goodyear-Marshall Pub. Co., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with cover title "Herbarium, Monarch Series." Pages labeled "Botanical Specimen" and "Plant Description" (Form no. 571) with spaces provided to fill in information about the plant specimens. Inside front cover has labeled spaces for characteristics of "Botanical Specimes arranged by" filled in as follows by hand: "Name," Dola Hersh, "School," Brush, "Instructor," Mr. Moore, "Term," Spring 1916. Contains 16 unidentified mounted specimens. Folded folio leaf attached to inside back cover with sections: "Index of Specimens" to be filled in, "Key to Plant Description," and "Directions for Collecting, Pressing and Mounting Specimens."
